The manufacturer of outboard and inboard engines developed an improved transmission featuring greatly reduced shift force requirements. The unique design required a robust, high-efficient push-pull cable.
In order to improve the marine operator experience and shift sequence, CMA developed a high efficient push-pull cable with a unique, patented center core. The specially designed core has minimal contact with the inner lining of the cable and uses slip-enhancing plastics and lifetime lubrication to enhance shift performance.
