From our modest roots in Rockaway, New Jersey starting with only a few employees, today, Cablecraft is a market leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance, mission-critical motion control products with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. We have a rich history of delivering cost-efficient and reliable control cables (push and push-pull), rod ends, ball joints, linkages and remote actuation products.

History

Our rich history as a reliable provider of value-added engineered motion control solutions which encompasses control cables, cable assemblies, rod ends, ball joints, linkages, and remote actuation products dates all the way back to the 1920s. Supported by our design assistance and outstanding customer service, this has enabled a tradition of growth and quality achievements gaining market share in a diverse base of end markets including engine controls, power sports, light vehicle, heavy truck, marine, construction, and agriculture industries. Today, with limitless possibilities, versatility, applications, and engineered solutions, we continue propelling the world forward, safely and reliably.

2021 CMA is acquired by Torque Capital Group to offer strategic, operational, and financial resources to accelerate the building of long-term value.

CMA acquires the assets of Glassmaster Controls, a designer and manufacturer of mechanical cables, controls, and actuation assemblies strengthening core product offerings while expanding into new end markets.

CMA acquires Cablecraft Motion Controls, bringing together two iconic brands in mechanical motion controls creating a global leader in the design and manufacture of engineered motion controls.
