Remote Actuation Systems (RAS) Actuators

CMA’s Remote Actuation Systems utilize a wide range of standard actuators. Used with our custom shuttle molded cable controls, they are engineered and manufactured to specifications suitable for every application and functional requirement.

These systems are a light-weight and cost effective means to remotely operate any latch, catch, release mechanism or locking gas spring. CMA’s Engineering Department will assist you in the specification of a system using standard or custom components to solve any remote actuation problem.

A wide variety of lever, push button and pull handle type actuators offer many user- friendly features and options. All offer easy installation with convenient mounting on flat surfaces.

When product volumes justify it, custom actuators can be designed and tooled to meet unique product and functional requirements. All actuators are designed to be assembled to and function with CMA custom cable controls. Standard cable and conduit fittings are specified to ensure easy and reliable assembly.

This range of actuators offers the designer a wide variety of choices for the remote actuation of catches, latches, releases, operating mechanisms and locking gas springs.
