Cycle-Flex Assemblies
CMA's expertise in the design and fabrication of miniature cable assemblies has resulted in thousands of successful applications. Our early involvement in many unique and demanding cable development programs has resulted in numerous satisfied customers needing a high degree of confidence and reliability in drive cables, security lanyards, and cable controls.
The diverse experience CMA has in miniature cable assembly, combined with a large selection of standard fittings, offers the user many approaches to individual mechanical application. We have designed and built exclusive, custom-engineered equipment to cut, assemble and test Cycle-Flex cable and assemblies. The highest degree of quality and consistency is insured by the use of our extensive Quality Assurance programs using statistical process control procedures.
Cycle-Flex Fittings
CMA's standard line of fittings for Cycle-Flex cable offers many functional assembly options. Each series of fittings has been carefully designed and tested to offer the highest holding strength possible when combined with the recommended cable size. These fittings are applied to bare or coated cable using custom and proprietary matched steel dies in mechanical, or hydraulic presses. Consult CMA's Sales and Engineering departments for recommendations on fitting selection. The proper selection can have a significant impact on the assembly's function, installation, reliability and cost. Custom Fittings
Our extensive experience in special custom fittings design, combined with the capabilities of our fully equipped machine shop and tool room, has resulted in many unique and successful fittings. Small quantities of custom fittings are expensive, however, CMA will always quote the most cost-effective tooling, material, and assembly process possible.
