History
Through the years, our philosophy of providing a quality product supported by our design assistance and outstanding customer service has led to a tradition of growth and quality achievements for CMA.
- 1975 – CMA founded in Rockaway, New Jersey with five employees; 1,200 sq. ft.
- 1977 – CMA moved to Fairfield, New Jersey and expanded to 5,000 sq. ft.
- 1978 – Doubled production to 10,000 sq. ft.
- 1982 – Increased production again to 15.000 sq. ft.
- 1984 – Opened a 2,000 sq. ft. production facility in Bolivar, Ohio
- 1987 – Expanded the New Jersey facility to 25,000 sq. ft.
- 1988 – Opened a new 21,000 sq. ft. facility in Bolivar, Ohio
- 1994 – Relocated corporate offices to Bolivar, Ohio and expanded the facility to
52,000 sq. ft. with 170 employees - 1998 – CMA receives ISO9001/QS9000 registration
- 2000 – CMA celebrates 25 years in business
- 2005 – CMA receives TS16949 registration
- 2006 – CMA’s first Six Sigma Black Belt is certified
- 2007 – CMA certifies two additional Six Sigma Black Belts
- 2008 – Expands capabilities by signing an exclusive marketing agreement with
an Asian cable partner - 2009 – Opens second production facility in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico;
